The Byron-Bergen Wrestling team won the Steve Garland Memorial Duals in Pavilion over the weekend, defeating Avon in the final match 39-25.
Along the way to their first place finish, the Bees defeated Pavilion/York in Round I (72-12), East Rochester in Round II (70-12), Arkport in Round III (61-24), had a bye in Round IV, and then dropped Le Roy in the final round 57-25.
Hornell and Le Roy each finished behind B-B and Avon, as they recorded third and fourth place honors respectively.
