Over the weekend the Batavia Wrestling team performed well at the Monroe County Wrestling Championships – namely Joe Allegue at 170 lbs and Jeremy Boyle at 145 lbs. Both grapplers finished fourth in their respective weight classes, as Allegue was pinned by Peter Tubiolo in 4:45 during the third place match, while Boyle fell just short of overcoming Chris Barker – falling to the Webster Thomas standout by a 7-4 decision.
Batavia finished 15th as a team.
